BROW TATTOO PRECARE
2 WEEKS PRIOR
AVOID:
Eyebrow waxing, threading, plucking, or tinting for 2 weeks before the appointment. This can affect your results.
Exfoliating, chemical peels, and retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment
Suntanning since this can alter your results
72 HOURS PRIOR
AVOID:
Coffee and alcohol. This includes coffee, boba, tea, energy drinks, pre-workout, beers, wine, hard liquor, seltzers, and etc.
Blood thinning medications - Ibuprofen (Advil), aspirin, Niacin (Vitamin B3), fish oil. Blood thinners that may cause skin to be hypersensitive, bleed, and bruise easily
Smoking
Tweezing or waxing the area
THINGS TO NOTE:
You will be more sensitive when on menstrual cycle
Eat before the appointment to ensure the blood sugar levels stay balance
SALINE LIGHTENING TREATMENT PRECARE
ONE WEEK PRIOR:
DO:
Moisturize daily, all throughout the day
Exfoliate the area to be treated one week prior
Drink plenty of water - hydrate the body = hydrate the skin
AVOID:
Tweezing, waxing, threading as this may irritate the skin
Vitamin E & fish oil - blood thinners
Blood thinning substances
Suntanning as this increased sun exposure may alter the skin
72 HOURS PRIOR:
AVOID:
Alcohol & caffeine - blood thinners that may cause skin to be hypersensitive, bleed, and bruise easily
Blood thinning medications - Ibuprofen (Advil), aspirin, Niacin (Vitamin B3), fish oil
Caffeine - coffee, boba, tea, energy drinks

LIP TATTOO PRECARE
1 MONTH PRIOR:
No lip fillers or botox around the lip area.
1 WEEK PRIOR:
Keep lips moisturized at all times
NO tanning beds
NO chemical peels, laser facial, facial procedures (I.E. hydrafacials, microneedling, etc.)
NO waxing around the lips
3 DAYS PRIOR:
DO:
Exfoliate lips
Keep lips hydrated at all times
After exfoliation, use a hydrating moisturizer such as lip oils/masks, aquafor, vaseline, etc. Basic chapstick is not hydrating enough & will cause the lips to become more chapped.
If you are prone to cold sores you need to take an antiviral prescription 3 days before & 3 days after the lip procedure. You can get a prescription: from your doctor, order from hellowisp.com (no prescription from MD needed.), or take OTC L-Lysine vitamin to help prevent or alleviate cold sores from occurring (antivirals are more effect).
AVOID:
exercise
caffeine or alcohol (coffee, decaf, tea, boba tea, soda, energy drinks, pre-workout, wine, seltzers, coolers, hard liquor, beers, etc)
blood thinners: fish oil, vitamin E (ingested), niacin, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, etc. Tylenol is okay!
smoking of any substances.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you drink caffeine or take blood thinning medications daily, please discontinue them for 1 week prior to your appointment to allow your body to clear these substances from your system. Please consult with your doctor before discontinuing any major medications.
